Historic Building Preservation and Maintenance

Our Preservation and Maintenance Service (PAMS) is a proactive program designed to protect and preserve historic properties. As a PAMS client, Fifty Three Restorations will perform a comprehensive inspection of your building and provide a written report, which will both list the current condition of your building's components and provide baseline information for future review and action. Based on our findings, we will then design a detailed custom maintenance manual for your building, outlining both routine maintenance as well as long term life-cycle items. The goals of this program include keeping building owners and managers current with maintenance, ahead of developing problems, and the elimination of costly surprises. By utilizing targeted and routine care for your property, the building will remain fully functional, benefit from a long-term reduction in carrying costs and ensure the retention of its historic character.
